Should the Cosmos Hub allocate 600k ATOM to pSTAKE for the growth of ATOM liquid staking with stkATOM? 🤔
A Cosmos Hub forum discussion has been started by @pandeymikhil to discuss the specifics of the same.
It is suggested that the 600K ATOM be split as follows:
1. stkATOM/ATOM LP on Astroport (Neutron) - 50%
2. stkATOM/ATOM LP on Dexter (Persistence) - 33.33%
3. stkATOM/IST LP on Dexter - 16.66%
Benefits 🤝
1. Cosmos Hub generates revenue with stkATOM (Staking yield + DeFi yield + 15% of pSTAKE ATOM liquid staking revenue share)
2. ~$2.5M TVL increase on pSTAKE and ~$4.6M TVL increase on Persistence Chain
3. ATOM strengthens itself at the center of Cosmos LSTfi
4. Multiple chains like Neutron, Agoric, and Persistence align together
5. Support adoption of liquid staking and contribute to reducing ATOM inflation
6. Decentralize and diversify the Community Pool’s exposure to LSTs
